I wish they had a little bit better steel on this one so I can bother Josh from REK for another regrind and actually use the knife for edc and not carrying it strictly for fun...
I also like the hieroglyphs on the blade, wouldn't mess with them, but either way it is appealing knife... Love your pictures :thumbup:

Surge is a LIL HEAVY, but it has better features than the wave. I particularly like the removable file/jigsaw blade. I carry two blades with me. I want to trade this one in some day for one of those gold and black one's I've seen on ebayy.

I may have to get me one of those Olamic's. They are just so damn nice looking. I love that blade design and the hollowed flipper tab. Took a look at the tupper too, interesting, I'll have to look more.

I don't believe I've ever seen them in camel bone. Then again, I got to the party pretty late. By the time I picked one up the only options were micarta, ebony, and jigged bone.
It is by far my most carried traditional and the one that shifted my focus from moderns to slip joints. I feel like if KSF were to drop the price a little the presidential would be a lot bigger of a hit.
 
Your ebony one looks way better you didn't miss much!

I'd still have mine except that I prefer stainless steels. I just ordered an everyday barlow in cpm154! I was going to pull the trigger on a mnandi but I've just really taken to traditionals. It's all I really need 95% of the time!

I'm with you on the mnandi. I have a large 21 and if I were to keep only two of my knives it would be the presidential and 21. I've been wanting a new CR lately, but I've almost quit carrying moderns altogether. The mnandi seems like a good in between.

The presidential has been the only folding knife I've carried consistently since August. I love ebony and probably would have gotten the presidential in ebony if I didn't have a 72 in it. I've been carrying this fixed blade every day since I got it a month ago.
Lighting is atrocious and there's currently no natural light so these god awful pics will have to suffice.
