Thanks brother, it's a 1962. Early enough that it says "Les Paul" on the headstock. Wasn't until '63 that the name was changed to SG.

I figured if it was original it was probably a Les Paul. Quite the collectors piece then. Very Pete Townshend. I love P90's. I see it has a compensated bridge, did they come with that bridge or is it a replacement?

P90s are where it's at! The guitar came with a compensated bridge (tail piece) in 62, but it was compensated for a wound G. Modern strings, of course, have a plain G. So that's a replacement tail piece, but I do have the original in the case.
