Just for fun...I mean, how many here can recreate your pic? Great minds think alike I guess..![]()
The Diskin is nice, but I'm interested in the guitar. Looks like a Martin D-15M? If it is, how do you like it?
Close!
It's a 00-15M, and it's a great guitar. Since it's a 00, it's much smaller than a Dreadnought, so it's a nice little guitar for kicking back on the porch playin some blues. It's very warm with rich bass, and the highs really "snap" when you fingerpick. It's not really for the whole singer-songwriter thing IMO, strumming chords is kind of muddy when mixed with vocals, but for some blues, it's perfect:thumbup: If you like to strum, stick to Dreadnoughts.
Same guitar, different knife.

How's the new Rockstead B B?
Absolutely amazing!
This thing still looks brand new after a lot of cutting; the DLC coating keeps the mirror finish looking pristine. No scratches whatsoever!
Any rumors about these being hard to sharpen are completely false! I dropped mine tip-first on a socket wrench the other day, which caused the tip to dull. After about 10 minutes on 2000 grit sandpaper, it was sharper than ever!
These are pricey, but I feel that they are worth every penny. The Rockstead Higo is like the exotic Japanese sister of a Sebenza 21. Tight tolerances, pivot bushings, minimal points of contact, excellent blade geometry...but much sexier, and with more thought put into the blade itself. The Honzukuri grind is something to be appreciated.
Hands down, the best knife I own!
