While I don't share your particular tastes, I think it's great that you guys with the Rocksteads are carrying them and using them instead of letting them gather dust. :thumbup:

Nice carry buddy. How do you like the horizontal leather sheath?
Been wanting to pick up a FFG 3V version of the Guardian 3.

Thanks, Dan! I'm really digging these. The sheaths are interesting... The orange one came with a natural/tan leather sheath, which had an extremely tight belt loop - I almost couldn't get a belt through it. It took quite a bit of working-in (I got it on a heavy belt, and then just slid it back and forth to help loosen it up, then I wore it EDC for a week).

The black/green one came with a dyed black leather sheath. Surprisingly, it required significantly less breaking in (my experience in the past has been the opposite - that the dyed black sheaths required more break in than non-dyed sheaths). Either way, though, I really like the horizontal carry in many situations and activities.


Today, I grabbed the Featherweight - sooo light, it's a joy to carry. I actually forget I even have it on sometimes!:
