EDC VI Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Some days, its the big bulky gear that just makes me feel secure. I guess in my mind, if SHTF, I want tough, time tested and proven gear.

That fixed blade is awesome; can you provide more details on it please?

It is an old Imperial Fixed Blade I picked up at the flea market. Excellent condition, but the sheath is worn. Here is a pic of the stamp on the other side. 5" carbon steel blade, 0.95" thick blade, and a slim ~3.75" handle with plastic scales. Was an inexpensive way for me to try carrying fixed blades. Plastic scales feel cheap, but everything else is great. Little large for my edc needs when not in the outdoors.

Sweet find and thanks for the info. It has very nice lines to it and you could always make new scales for it in future if you felt the need to. :thumbup:

Me too. I never leave the house without a handgun. The Glock 19 & Wilson 1911 get the most carry time.

Brand new Buck Vanguard, wooden handle.. saw the stock grainy edge n sharpened it up.... walked around all day with squinty eyes trying to find a reason to use it!

Yet, you feel the need to comment on it anyway with post 171. Once you've looked at multiple "what are you carrying" threads displaying many thousands of knives (as I'm sure BB has), you'll get a general vibe.
