Had to make some more stakes for the garden this morning so I found some hardwood dowels and my Gayle Bradley and Infi Ratmandu because they are made of two very well regarded steels.
The stake on the right was made with the Gayle Bradley which has a steep edge angle, 15dps and the high hollow grind. The marks are from me hitting the the Gayle Bradley and the Ratmandu against the wood while it rested against the grill.
The stake on the left was made by chopping at different angles with the Infidu. I even whacked the edge against the grill a couple times.
In the end, both knives are still very sharp with no edge damage.

Oh and that was the first time trying that beer and I really like it .
Normally I like it a little more hoppy with a bite . But that had some nice flavors going on that left you wanting more
