EDC VIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

It really is.

All hidden screws, stainless Damascus blade, bolsters and pocket clip. Mastodon ivory scales, file work. And it's a D/A leaf spring auto!

The release button is the pivot, made from matching Damascus. Just barely visible.

When the blade is open it's pretty difficult to see where the blade ends and where the Damascus backspacer begins.

It's as smooth as any knife I own.

If I own a nicer knife...it's also a Wilson.

That craftsmanship is flawless. The button being "hidden" in the bolster and serving double duty for the pivot pin is genius. I can honestly say I've not seen that before. Thanks for sharing the additional pictures.

Carrying my new 0560cf with s110v. Loving it so far. Brings me back to the good old days of when this knife first came out and all the craze and hype that surrounded it!

This just showed-up today, picked up on the Exchange from 173rdRedDevil (thank again Shane! ). This is officially the "nicest" knife I own - and I freakin' love it!

Also, I called Spartan to see if I could get a replacement screw for the G10 scale and spoke to Curtis Iovito (Co-Owner / Co-Founder). What a pleasure he was to work with; he sent me replacement (3) screws, since the Akribis is now discontinued and wanted me to have a couple extra on-hand. I have no doubt this knife will last years of good use, but it's nice knowing the lifetime warranty is there and the company stands behind it! The dangerous part is now I'm REALLY wanting to check out their (new) Harsey folder - that thing looks stunning! :beguiled:
