Always in my back pocket, my Nealy Aikuchi. Here's a little story about when I got it and the box and packagin' it came with. (not pictured are the different flaps and belt attachments for the MCS system. Enjoy the story.
I was digging around in the basement last night and I found a knife periodical from the 90s and as I flipped through it I saw there was an article about the, (IIRC) first ECCKS (East Coast Custom Knifeworks Show), my first big knife show and it had a pic of Toni and Bud Nealy in it.
This was a big step for me, my wife was pregnant, I was makin' good money, we were gettin' ready to move onto the property we've been on for the last 25 years and I had decided to take the plunge into handmade knives, I bought 3 knives at that show, a Pat Crawford Framelock, (my favorite custom folder till I lost it

) a Dozier Arkansas Toothpick which I still have and finally 1 of the first 7 knives Bud Nealy took to his first big show after goin' from a musician, professional photographer and part time maker to full time. (He rides a motorcycle how bad can he be

)
I took a $1,000 to that show and I spent the entire day lookin' for the right first handmade knife. I saw this one table with comparatively less knives than most tables had and as I saw the homemade sign noticin' that this one guy lived 14 miles from my new home so I struck up a friendship with Mr Nealy that has continued for 25 years. Bud used to supply new knives to me he was testin' out for passarounds on the different knife forums. He's always welcomed me into his shop and took the time to show me what he was currently making and what he had comin' down the pike.
Anyway, after postin ' a pic of the magazine and his knife bought at that show on his BF page, I told him I'd post the original packagin' and receipt from 25 years ago when I bought my first knif from a custom maker. So here's the pic.
