Left front pocket:

- Victorinix Midnite MiniChamp II (Sapphire color)
- PrincetonTec Eclipse LED light (b/c the red LED on the SAK is too weak for my taste)
- Keys (both previous items are on keychain)
- chapstick
- Bic lighter

Right front pocket:

- Samsung SGH-X426 phone
- Pack of Camel Special Lights

Wallet goes in right hip pocket, and my Cold Steel Recon 1 folder (clip point, plain edge) gets clipped inside my waistband on my right side.

Edited because I'm silly. Also, Leatherman Wave (original) which usually floats between watch pocket (pokes out for quick access) or cargo pocket, whichever is more appropriate for the pants I'm wearing.

Yeesh, I had some funky taste.

Current EDC:

Left front pocket:

- Victorinox Midnight MiniChamp II (still the same one, going strong!)
- Victorinox Alox Bantam
- Keys, w/ paracord fob and Streamlight Keymate

Right front pocket:

- Benchmade 520, 732 or 14210.
- Motorola v505

Don't carry the Wave much anymore. No more cigarettes; I've been smoke free for four weeks TODAY.

Stunning, Physics, just absolutely stunning.

Who did the work on it?

I managed to win this one NiB with customization off Ebay. I'm still waiting to hear back from the seller about who exactly did the work. I'll let ya know when I find out.

And thanks for the compliments guys. :D

It looks to me like either Eich or Reese Weiland did the work. I KNOW I've seen that knife before though. I'm not sure where, though.

Physics, I believe I've seen that knife over "Across the Street." That's where I seem to remember it from anyway. I'll post over there and see who might remember what. I am, however, SURE, I saw it there... Hmm...

Well, Physics, I asked and it is the considered opinion of the resident experts (and a few of them remember this exact knife) that Eich is the one who "done the deed." That striping is classic Eich, which I seemed to remember. I'm not sure who the seller was or where he got it from, but that knife made the rounds "over there," and as I recall nobody who owned it had the heart to carry it because they all liked it too much.

If you wouldn't mind, a couple of the guys wanted to know what the final auction went for. More than a few of them, I should tell you, think you made a great score and were wishing they'd been cruising the 'bay more often than they did. You could email me, if its better for you and you don't find the whole subject completely offensive. A round figure would be fine. Thanks, and I hope I've managed to fill in some of the gaps on your very nice knife.

Oh, and I should also tell you that Eich didn't do too many 630s, so there aren't that many out there like this one. Matter of fact, other than THIS knife, I haven't seen but maybe one or two and those are securely in safes.

Fascinating. Thanks for the info SpyderJon. It totally conflicts with what the seller said unless he is one of the Weiland's.

Here's what I posted on another forum for someone else interested in the knife.
----------------------------
The seller says he did the work himself and he charges about $100 per knife. I don't know if that's high or not but it did seem a little steep to me since I won the knife for $167.00.

Here's his email angelo.collado@excite.com

And here's his ebay feedback page http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAP...edude&frm=1728

He seems to be a man of few words. I sent him an email saying there are 3 or 4 people interested in his work and he sent back an email consisting of 3 sentence. "I did the work. It cost about $100 per knife. Titanium preferred." Maybe he's just busy.

----------------------------------
I'm hoping this isn't a Skirmish done Eich as I have already managed to drop the knife while walking and accidentally kick across my driveway. $##%$!*#%^$*!&@$ It's definitely a user now. D'Oh! :(

Hmm... It COULD be someone else, I suppose, but I'm no expert. I mean its striping, but maybe he's an apprentice or something? Hey, if you can get Eich-quality work and come off with only paying $167, you're doing good! I could have SWORN, though- and would have on a stack of bibles- that this knife was one done by Eich. For that matter, so could most of the other people who've seen the pics. Oh well, I'm glad you got a kick-butt knife, and I'll let the other guys know about it! Thanks!!!

I just got myself a Spyderco C19 Bob Terzuola Jr. and it's in "user" shape already. That means it'll surely see some EDC time. I can't get over how stout it is for such a relatively small knife. The liner lock literally shakes my hand once opened and the blade is 1/8" thick. It almost reminds me of what a Strider would be if they made them this small. Great knife.

This weekend, it's been my new CRKT Ti-S2. One of the best knife deals I've ever encountered on a rock solid framelock. It really is the poor man's Sabenza ...

It has taken me several sittings to read through this entire post and I have to say that it is a neat one at that! Seeing the great variety of knives shown and carried. I always like to carry two knives, usually a large single bladed knife and a small two or three bladed knife. Today I have, and it is becoming a regular for me, a Benchmade 610 Rukus along with a Schrade medium stockman. Other days may see me with a Case whittler pattern.:) :) :)

I just fell into the Benchmade fan club this week when my first one showed up.

It's a 5000, AKA Presidio Auto-Axis, and man, this thing is built like the proverbial tank and I really like the 154CM steel.

So it's pushing out the MT L-UDT for left pocket duty at least for now! :)

This is my first post here, and I can't think of a better way to break the ice! FWIW, this is what I usually carry:
RFP- BM Grip 556, and money clip
LFP- NAA 22mag in pocket holster
IWB- Sig 232sl, or OWB Sig GSR Revolution

This is an awesome thread! I'm glad it's gone on as long as it has. My current EDC list is:

- Griptilian 551 in D2
- wallet
- keychain, which has Streamlight Keymate & Leatherman Squirt P4 & keys
- watch needs news band, but it's a Wenger something

huh, that's not much, at all! I guess I like to travel light. In the wilderness, though, I carry a fair bit more.

bic pen, black
hamilton khaki watch, rubber strap
motorola razr, black
weekly planner, black
rayskin card holder, id's, debit + credit card, $7.00
keys
strider wp, black (soon to be swapped out for a strider DBL, g10)
strider sng, gen 5
