EDC - What's in Your Pocket(s)??

Wow! It appears that the last time I posted on this thread was 2/03/07.........my how I've changed my pocket carry since then!
Of course that Rukus I posted about in February is still in rotation, but I've added a couple of RJ Martin Devastators- one is the standard model Devastator with the drop point/fighter style blade while the other is his stealth tanto blade. That one is currently gracing my pocket as I type. RJ Martin makes a heckuva' knife!!!:thumbup:

I always love these threads.....Its interesting to see what other folks carry, and the why behind it. :)

  • Smart MoneyClip (drivers license, credit/debit cards etc)
  • Cell phone
  • Personal keys (house, cars etc)
  • Work keys
  • 2AA Mini MagLite w/ LED upgrade (nice light, and functions as a pocket stick)
  • Large Voyager Tanto (pretty much cuts whatever I need to cut, its been used and abused and still takes/holds an edge great)
  • Extra Large Voyager Tanto (SD option if it is ever needed)
Past that, if I know Im going somewhere that needs extra caution or consideration....

I never carry blades worth more than 150.00 cuz the law enforcement officers around here (downtown LA) have been known to "confiscate" perfectly legal knives directly into their own possesion.
 
Maybe not to you but but 0-60 in 6 sconds is pretty damn fast to me... Faster than my previous car which was an Intergra.. Talking about the Z3 Coupe, not the convertible here.. Anything faster and I'd be in serious trouble..

I shouldn't have mentioned the car anyway, this is a knife forum. Last thing I want to do is digress into car talk..
 
Rabbit13, how do you like that Cyclone? I've been trying to decide between a mini Cyclone and a G10 Leek -- I prefer the Cyclone blade silhouette but I'm not sure about the grip...
 
The Cyclone is great. I dig fat drop points too.. The handle isn't as ergonomic as say a Kershaw Speedbump due to the fact that's it's flatter but that's fine because it fits nicely in your pocket without bugling out... The speedsafe spring is very strong and snappy.. You can't go wrong w/ any of the Ken Onions.. cheers..
 
CruJones- Totally! Kid's probably read My Side Of The Mountain several times.. he mentions he's going to possibly replace the knives soon. Anything other than a Mora would ruin the charm..

Officer, read up on the ACLU they're not a Democrat organization.. and this is my card, Hilary can get her own.. They've defended everyone from communists to the KKK... If you value the first ammendment as much as you probably value the second, and if you're interested in keeping the government out of your private life, read up compadre... and btw I'm not a Democrat or a Republican..
