EDC - What's in Your Pocket(s)??

Neck, side, and pocket EDCs.
 
Here's the Leek photo. Keep in mind I've made a few modifications to mine. I started mirror polishing the blade, removed the safety latch and reprofiled the edge, so it looks slightly different. Let me know if you need any other angles.

Not much today: Spyderco Adventura IWB, Spyderco Ladybug on the keychain, Pulsar LED microlight (on the same keychain) and an LG E600 cellphone into the belt sheath.
 
Can someone tell me why you carry 3 or 4 knives at a time? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE knives. I've got around 50 or so. But I don't think I would want to lug around more than two at the most. I usually carry a Spyderco Native or Ka-Bar Dosier along with a small SAK on my keychain. I guess I just don't understand why someone would want so much in their pockets.

This has been gone over a million times and you probably will not change your opinion, but from what I've gathered people either like to carry them for joy/admiring/they just want to, and others have specific tasks for each knife. Or a mixture of the two!

Sometimes I carry two knives, like a Buck Hartsook and an Opinel #10. Reasons for this could be keeping one clean for dedicated food usage, have different sized blades for different tasks, having a beater knife you'll cut metal and other harmful media with, having a smooth edge on one knife and coarse on the other, one pure slicer and one self defense knife etc. I usually just have a Leek, G10 Cara Cara or something else around that size on me with my Vic Classic on my keychain, I find that combo works best for me. Sometimes I'll carry a full-sized SAK along with the folder, sometimes it'll be there instead of the folder. Kind of depends on my intended uses for the day.

I never eat fast food or anything myself, so my knives do get used for food often. If I'm driving around, I'll usually keep some bananas, carrots, a loaf of bread or something along those lines with me rather than stopping at a McDonalds, so having a dedicated food knife on me often makes sense.

I don't understand having 4 full sized knives on me myself though. If I want to handle some of my knives for some reason, I can always wait until I get home.

it beats carrying a purse

who am i kidding? you should see my laptop bag :O

me personally, my setup is a bit redundant, but i generally will need most of the crap i carry once every couple of days, and occasionally in multiples if i'm working with someone else

i have a Midnight Manager II SAK on my main set of work/house keys that has a perfect Phillips screwdriver for some electronics, and small scissors that are good for fingernails

my Swisschamp SAK has tweezers and a toothpick that i use a lot, not to mention the larger Phillips

the Leatherman Charge with more bits for other screws works to tighten my Sebenza, etc... or for me to use if i hand the SAK to someone

the main thing i cut with is my Sebenza, i almost don't use the blades on the other things i carry at all

i also have a FRN Ladybug or Jester on my car keys. i don't notice it's there, but if i need it, it is. it's also not as scary my Sebenza if i'm around new people or something (i sometimes work around suits :))

Why do you carry 2 ? why not just one ? :D

I carry a Case/Bose for the office , this is the one most people can see ( that or my PT ) ... the others are carried out of sight .. I carry many because I like....errr wait...I LOVE KNIVES....there I said it.... ;)
 
Benchmade 710 D2 Black/Serrated in my right front pocket and my HK USP40 Compact in my ride.
 
Here is what I am carrying today. New plain sebenza I just got my Paw Prints Seb can take a rest now.:D
