William Henry S-05 Cocobolo - the now discontinued "cheap" line. Liners 420, blade VG-10, nice wooden inlays (or better: ONlays). Sheath is becoming a bit loose now - being careful not to lose the knife... I was dressed pretty stylish today (Crockett&Jones shoes, Zegna jeans, Finamore shirt) so I had to carry an appropriate knife...!

Other hardware: Self-restored vintage (approx. 1970) Zentra dress-watch, your basic Vic with scissors, an LED keylight, keys for both cars (yes, and that with gas-prices here... ), a Nokia that's nearing vintage-status as well (I only bought it, years back, because one of my cars is vintage as well :D. I hate phones).

My primary EDC is a Marlowe custom that I believe he calls simply Tactical. The blade geometry is the best I have every carried and its the sharpest knife I own. If I remember correctly the blade material is 154CM.

My secondary carry is a Spyderco Dodo. Its perfect for zipping open boxes and general cutting. The blade geometry is different but it still cuts well. I love this knife....too bad its discontinued I believe.

Today I have my new Blue Blur, a custom from Scott Tanguay, and my new phone: a Motorola Z6tv......

Today i edc'ed the following at the gym
tissues, ear phones, flashlight, towel, water bottle, vic huntsman, and a excalibur knife(beater knife).

Beat all to he11 Buck 505. It doesn't hold a candle to the knives ya'll carry, but it keeps up with me and I don't stress out about the abuse I give it or whether or not I'll lose it.

Plus, the small size rides in my pocket discreetly and comfortably.

Quick question: What would ya'll recommend to replace it if/when I DO lose it, given what I said above.

Here's what i carry most days. The knife changes depending on my mood and where i'm going.

Another 505, a 55, a Bucklite, if you want a lockback. There is also the Spyderco native for $40, which you can get if you like Spyderco.
If you're okay with a slipjoint, a Case Sodbuster Jr.
For other lock mechanisms- a Mini Grip, Kershaw Shallot, Leek, Chive, etc.

I'm packing my new smooth yellow bone Moore Maker Serpentine Stockman today.

Today; Boker Trance, Case 6292 large Texas Jack, Spyderco Ladybug3 in orange and a Scibeer custom Victorinox Abrasive Yo-Man.

It's going to be a ZT0300, all black version, sometime tomorrow. Whether or not it roots my ZT0500 MUDD out is up in the air.:D

Kershaw cyclone, Ruger LCP (know its tiny, but you don't even notice it), David Farmer Canary Wood Tactical Large Clip Point

I noticed very few listing pens or any writing instruments -

are these so common an EDC that we tend to forget they are an EDC?

or don't people carry writing instruments?

I know I miss a pen when I need one and don't have one on me - the typical being in line at a bank or post office....

That experience led me to carry my Victorinox Scientist SAK - as it has a ballpoint pen in the handle - so I am never without a pen.

Check out the Fisher Space Pen. It's made beautifully. It opens up into a full sized pen. I lose them frequently, so I buy multiples.
Enjoy
