So-Lo,

I see the surefire pen there. Do you like it? Broken any windows with it yet? Seriously, I woder if it can break a window any better than say a maglite (without modification). It's pricey, but quite a tool to keep in your shirt pocket, especially in a courtroom where no guns/knives are allowed. Love that it doesn't appear to be a defensive tool... it's not a Kubotan with tip, it's a strong pen with window breaker.

Mike5150, your badge is missing:)

About breaking windows, I have found that if you have one handy, say from the car that is wrecked, snapping and antenna into tempered glass has the required effect and does not cut your hands. I have seen guys cut the crap out of their hands even busting a car window with and ASP. I would not want to do it with a pen or folder, or without gloves at all. If you are bleeding and missing some chunks of hand meat it may reduce you helpfulness.

Yeah, I took the badge out for the picture.

The matriarch is a smaller version of the civilian, it was made for a short time. I like it because it has the same handle as the endura 3, and I practice with an endura trainer, use an endura (or Pacific Salt) for most cutting, and the endura handle fits my hand nicely so opening it in a tense situation is instinctive. I got my matriarch for $80 at a gunshow. The guy called it a harpy (a different knife), I was darn lucky.

Where did you get that wallet rig?

I'd like a rig just like that. On the other side of the wallet: Bad Mother F***er.

710SBKD2 and ARC Premium AAA with protective heat shrink. Big knife / small light.
