I just got the zippo, and been carrying it around for the past week even though I don't smoke. I've always wanted a zippo, because I think they're kick-a$$, but never managed to get one. So when I saw em on Knifeworks for cheap, I had to buy it. No I don't NEED to carry one (especially since I have a peanut lighter on my keychain), and I know the fuel evaporates and blah blah blah, but they're still awesome so I'm carrying one because I want to carry it :thumbup:.

I carry a lighter every day and I don't smoke. It's one of those things that I know I may never need; but if I do need it, I'll be glad it's there.

Same here, I like being prepared and knowing I have at least two ways of making a fire quickly at any given time :thumbup:. I do have that peanut lighter that's always on my keychain, but the "snick" and "snack" and nice flame of the zippo is so much more enjoyable

When I use it in the outdoor, I hang it from a separate sling goes around my waist.

~Custom necklace with a live 9mm round hidden inside
~Leatherman TTi (clipped IWB)
~Mobile phone (in pants pocket)
~Protech Brend dagger OR Fox Karambit (weak side IWB)
~Inova T1 flashlight and a whistle on lanyard (left side pants pocket)
~2 Spare batteries (in small pouch, backpocket of pants)
~Zippo lighter (in pants pocket, don´t even smoke myself)
~Wallet with pepper, salt, magnifying card, 2 bandaids, 1 burnwound aid, 1 lenscleaner, 2 painkillers, 1 sleeping pill, 1 sample muscle oil, 1 sample handcream and 1 condom.

~Watch (Armani women´s, don´t ask... around right wrist)
