I got that knife from a hardware store, it is a working knife. From the information on the blade it seems that it is distributed by Homeij, a company importing and selling knives to hardware stores and such. Also, the text "geschmiedet" is German, so I guess it is made in Germany. It does have a typical German look anyways, like Friedrich Herder knives. I have searched on ProfiJob, but did not find information on it in relation to knives.

I have gone through many an EDC thread on other sites and I am always wondering what the heck this, that or the other item is...what it does...where I can find it, etc. I now create the post, links and all, and save it as a word document so I can paste it into other threads and sitess.

Hopefully I will be changing it again before too long when I add a knife and figure out how I will carry some kind of minimalist first aid kit.

Today:

Left pocket: Spyderco D'Allara, plain edged. Car keys on a kubotan.
Right pocket: Other keys on a lanyard attached to my belt. Boker Subcom. Bic lighter.
Right back pocket: Wenger Wallet.
Left side belt: NexTorch T9 light. Ruger P-89 with spare magazine.
Right side belt: ASP 26" baton. Two magazines for the P-89.
Neck: CRKT Dogfish with cord-wrapped handle.
Left ankle: Ruger SP101.

I haven't posted my EDC in months, because this is what it's been for months.

-Spyderco Endura 4 w/ Emerson Wave
-Victorinox SA Divemaster 300 (on my 2nd, favorite watch ever)
-20oz Starbucks double-insulated acrylic cold drink cup w/rubber lid gasket and "never lose it" straw. This is perfect for iced coffee addicts such as myself - i can't live without the stuff.
-purple bic lighter - no one steals purple ones!
-cheap carabiner w/keys to Saab 900 Turbo SPG, apartment, club (steering wheel lock) key, small metalnerd keychain, SAK black alox classic,
-ancient wallet


i should be getting my first new knife since DECEMBER (when i got a Bradley Alias) in the next few days, a BM 555HG (mini griptilian hg) I got off ebay. Have heard such good things about them...

Where did you get the clip for the LD01? Is there any chance there is a clip for the P2D?
