It looks like one of those plastic trigger lock things. It's like a third safety, you have to pop it out with a finger before you can fire the gun.

Today, I got my new Burger EXK1 with dual liners and tip-up clip. It's going in my pocket with a Wenger SAK:thumbup:

Yes, it's called a "Saf-T-Blok". IMO it provides a little added measure of safety. Many people ridicule them, but I like it.

I was thinking the same thing and obviously thought Spyderco first. After a lot of fruitless searching, I remembered that Benchmade uncerimoniously moved into spyderhole territory a while back.

The decent looking Benchmade Vex is one ot the results of that dubious decision.

ah! Yeah, the Vex appears to be a nice little knife. Thanks for the info.
