Sometimes I carry a Case stockman as a backup

everyday... just got a buck muscrat, non locking, to cart about fot opening boxes and slicing salami etc. Keep hearing cases of mates hauled off to uk courts for gettin spotted with their favourite old lock knives! these days, if I feel im going to need a locking blade, I tend to take a neat little fixed blade instead... (having trust issues after a lock on one of my knives failed, costing me a tendon!!)
this usually goes along with a 'photonpump' led headtorch keyring nail clippers with scissors etc a diamond 'credit card' sharpening stone and my blackberry!

I'm omitting the usual keys and wallet.
The light is a sometimes.
The knife is a CRKT M16 EDC. My state is 3" or less measured from the hilt, but the nominal 3" blade was actually about 3.1. I ground the spearpoint into something of a wharncliffe for a total of of 2-7/8ths". I actually much prefer the new shape. This knife has been pretty good to me, and an excellent value.
This has been my EDC for several years. After 9 days traveling without a pocketknife I got a little obsessive, ordered a backup, and joined the forum.
