Man, some of you carry a lot of stuff in your pockets. Alls I carry is my phone and a cheap knife. I don't carry my good knives every day - only when I know I'll need them.

I have found myself in situations where a good knife was a comfort and a help, that were unplanned.

Enough times that I've decided to always carry the best I can, where ever I go.

Besides that, carrying a quality knife is a joy, and even if it's just to trim a loose thread, or clean a fingernail, ect. it can brighten up an otherwise dull day.:)

ah pretty mellow. Got up at 0900, watched an old 1950's Bugs Bunny & friends cartoon (love that show), made some coffee and an omelet/toast, fed the animals, cleaned up a hairball from the cat, went out into the city to do some business, rode the skytrain (our subway) came back home and made dinner.

you?

this evening i'm EDC'ing a Emerson Super Commander, Handley Bladesmith TAC-EDC fixed blade, and a Fenix TA30

I've read through most of the posts in this thread and I've got to ask...why do most of you have more than one knife, a flashlight, and then another type of light on your keychain. I mean, I can't think of one time where I was like, "damn...wish I had a flashlight or two". It's pretty rare when I even need a knife to cut a danglin' thread, but I will always carry one for defense purposes. But all this other stuff you fellas carry has me kinda confused. I guess I am missing the point. Not trying to flame anyone...I just don't get it.

As for as what I do carry...wallet in left rear pocket. BM943 or CRKT M16 in right front pocket or the leg pocket of my carpenter jeans. And maybe a cell phone. That's it.

I use my knives hundreds of times a day, from cutting paper/boxes/food/packaging with the folders, to chopping apart pallets and ventilating drums for draining with the fixed blades. As for flashlights, i use them daily for inspecting the truck, to sweeping the yard at night when the alarm goes off.

I also have a Spyderco rescue assist. I am not LEO or similar, but i have used it many times while driving to break windows and cut seatbelts at accident scenes on mountain roads or cargo ropes/tarps when working.

I had some errands to run, and I had on me:
MPR
PT
Cucchiara knife & Pen in Mission wallet
My Tree Frog is always on me.
iPod Touch
Blackberry Tour

And later my dog. (I keep a dog bag in my truck for him.)

I was just thinking I have yet to take a pic of my bag I carry most of my stuff in. Will have to remedy that. But I always photo my knives.

Today I had my Case Indian Sambar Stag Stockman in watch pocket.

Understood. Everyone's days are different. I work in an office, and I rarely find myself in a situation where I need more knife than I currently carry. And I've lost one too many "good" knives over the years when they slipped out of my pants pocket. Not to mention the corporate policy against "weapons" in the work place.
