EDC - What's on your belt?

Here's a slightly more specific EDC question. How much and what kind of stuff do you carry on your belt? I think I could probably get all my EDC gear on my belt, but it's not very PC to walk around an office with a batman belt.

Usually I'm limited to my cell phone and FF/EMT pager. At home I usually add a Leatherman Wave or Crunch to the belt (they ride in my pockets during the day). Sometimes I also include a small pouch with latex gloves, CPR mask and BM rescue hook. And, sometimes I've got my BM 556 IWB.

Do any of you regularly carry a Maxpedition belt pouch or any other similar pouches? What else do you carry? Any pics??

Thanks.

Whats on my belt ... hmmm ... not a thing. I dont go for the batman thing either whilst among the civilized masses. I keep it all in my pockets. Wallet, Keys, Cell, Bandanna, Lighter, Flashlight, etc... Now when I'm out in the wilderness then thats another story. Then "some" gear "may" go on my belt. Usually the first thing to go to the belt (if anything) when out in the woods is my knife since I usually switch from a folder to a fixed blade before heading out on the trail. In the somewhat frequent situation when I expect to be climbing a lot of rocks, canyon walls, reveines, etc, then almost everythign goes on the belt for comfort and security reasons. I am also often in situations out in the wilderness (or on the lake) where I have no pockets or belt loops, in which case I carry the exact same gear, but it goeas on a lanyard around my neck instead. However, as far as the daily routine in the urban, concrete, smog-infested jungle that I am forced to work in, I have absolutely nothing on my belt. :D

Right above my right hand pocket, I have my cell phone, and I hang the lanyard for my Inova X5T around the clip so it's easier to get to. Behind the right hip belt loop I have a small pouch with a pair of rubber gloves, a CPR mask, PT Impact LED light, SAK knockoff and a thumbdrive. That's it.

Nothin, don't wear one. Everything is in the pockets. I don't like hanging stuff off my belt out in the open. Seems too "suburban" to me. I especially don't like hanging knives or multitools off a belt. Seems to "hickish" to me. No offense to surbanites or hicks intended, nor do I imply that anyone who hangs stuff off his/her belt is a hick or suburbanite (whatever that means). It's just not my thing, and I feel funny doing it.

If I ever get a cell phone though, I'll probably start. Probably just the cell, not anything else.

What kind of pouch do you use for that stuff? I have one that I got from Galls, but it won't hold much more than a pair of latex gloves and CPR mask.

Thanks for the replies so far!

Sometimes LM Wave/Minimag combo w/sheath to hold both. And some times, almost never CRKT Carcajou. I'm not into the batman thing either, although I would like his cape. :p

My cell phone is the only thing on my belt. I carry all my edc iwb, a sebenza, spydie police, and mod cqd mk1, to keep my belt clear and not attract too much attention. :)

The only time I wear a belt sheath is when I'm riding my Valkyrie, then it's a buck 112.

The only thing on my belt these days is a call phone.

When I worked in landscaping I carried a pair of hand pruners, and a LM pulse on my belt too. Those things were invaluable during those days. Especially when the boss drove off with the truck, leaving me behind with machines held together with string and gum, quit literally. This way I always had at least a few tools to work with.

Now that I don't do that anymore I don't really have the need for more than the phone. As mentioned by others it also tends to draw unwanted attention.

Leatherman Supertool, and some times, when it's not tucked in my back pocket, my Dozier Toothpick. :D

A fancy Mexican cowboy buckle and:

Left front.- cell phone, left back.- LED flashlight, right front.- my new toy (Vivitar digital camera), left back.- leatherman tool and harmonica.

Also on the right a belt loop from which my SAK hangs into my pocket.

A Buck Squire at the office and a Buck 110 on the weekend. For work related travel I tend to carry a SAK on the belt. For that matter, if I'm attending a house party I'll carry a SAK Climber to have access to both a corkscrew and a bottle opener.

Binford, It's a double glove pouch. I put the mask in the back towards the back where the belt loop is, the gloves folded in half and then rolled in the bottom, then the knife, light and thumbdrive. I don't recall if it came from Galls or not, though. .

The bottom knife in my avatar is on my belt right now. 4.25" blade of 440C ~5/32" thick with Cocobolo scales carried in a simple pouch sheath I made from 8-10 oz. cowhide. Been carrying it as part of my fixed blade rotation for more than a year now along with a handful of other knives I've made. Some forged, some stock removal, some straight high Carbon or stainless depending on my mood and what I'll be doing on a given day. ;) I try to carry a fixed blade most of the time but there are times when I'll just carry folders. Oh, BTW, I always have a folder in my left pocket, usually a Chinook II.

Cell phone and Gerber Multi-Tool on my left side.
Glock 17 or Kimber TLE II on my right when not at work.
