EDC - What's on your belt?

SOG powerlock - right hip - horizontal carry.
Horizontal cell phone sheath. - Right forward.
Folder in RFP.

For some reason it all has to be on the right. I try and move it around.. just doesn't work...

Away from work, usually just my cell phone in a custom pouch and a key keeper, but at work, the cell phone and my Swisstool on the left and the key keeper and a sheathed knife on my right, tonight an Eichenized lg Sebenza.

Typically a 5" 1911 IWB at 4o'clock, a carabiner around the belt to attach my keys to (the belt is threaded through the biner so that if the keys are yanked they will stay attached instead of ripping off like they would if clipped to a belt loop), 2 mag pouches with CMC 8 rounders, and a horizontal cell phone case with my SE t68i.

Today, just for fun, when I walked to the mailbox I had all the above on me plus:

Gerber 600 multitool in sheath
Surefire 6P in sheath
CRKT Stiff KISS IWB in front of holster
Cheap knockoff knife IWB small of back
pretty much a full batbelt, plus all my typical gear plus extras in my pockets.

My daily work EDC-
Right Side: Leatherman Wave in its nylon sheath
Black Spyderco Military in a horizontal BM sheath
Left Side: Surefire E2e w/ GGG TID in a Surefire pouch
Motorola V60 in a BodyGlove clip on holster

Two small fixed blades from Tops (Scalpel on the left and Strikar on the right handle poining out 45 degreees downward) In the summer, I wear polo shirts untucked in the office. In the winter its dress shirts tucked in with a sweater over them. Either way I carry two fixed blades in an office in NYC and all my sheeple coworkers are non the wiser. :D

when i'm on the job...

2 o'clock - Lg. Sebenza horizontal in TADGear sheath
4 o' - Surefire L2 vertical in maxpedition tube sheath
8 o' - Sanyo picturephone in Blur sheath
10 0' - Swisstool RS horizontal in TAD sheath

BTW, I'm Batman.

When I'm at work, I'm never without my Leatherman Wave and 2AA minimag flash light on my belt. They've both come in handy more times than I can count. I alternate the EDC in my pocket but my belt pouch is a must. :)

I try to hang all my heaviest gear off my belt. It rides more comfortably that way than in my pockets. And, despite working in an office, I go for the full Luke Skywalker look. Stranger still, no one ever seems to notice. Everything is carried in black horizontal sheaths on a black belt, apparently that makes them invisible.

Front left: Motorola T720 cell in The Pouch neoprene holder
Left side front: Victorinox CyberTool 41 in Eagle Industries sheath
Left side rear: H&K P7M8 magazine in TAD S1 sheath

Front right: self-made Mobius fixed blade in kydex sheath
Right side front: Spyderco SpydeRench in TAD S1 sheath
Right side rear: H&K P7 M8 in FIST tuckable IWB kydex holster

I do not carry the fixed blade, handgun, or magazine to work, but I do wear them everywhere else. My belt is the 1-1/2" CSM model from The Wilderness Tactical Products.

While at work - radio, cell, CPR mask/glove pouch, keys, LM Wave.

Off Duty - Glock 22, cell, SAK SwissChamp.

...as of this moment, or if theres any chance of having to do something it is also a wave/maglite combo, spare vehicle and shop keys on a loop of cord that are then tucked into pocket, and a folder IWB. While working substitute a more powerfull Pelican light and cel and very good two way radio.
Sometimes I get a comment about cord looking goofy, but work for a hydro utility with laptops etc in cab of truck so locking up is mandatory. Anything I can do to idiotproof myself for those 3am callouts I do. :)
Humilitating to lock yourself out if you are going for donuts, worse if you are the only guy in 50 miles for a no heat call. :(
Batbelts.. too funny, I always thought of that as MallSwatGuardSyndrome.. one fellow I know has the whole police/emt thing going on and thats hard to carry off when your 5'2".

Only thing on my belt is my pedometer.

I carry a pedometer too. As awell as a cell phone and pager. On the weekends I strap on the leatherman too.

I carry a cell phone and a Swisschamp in a cordura pouch. Both items are on the right side right next to each other. The cordura pouch also contains a Pocketwrench II. IWB between the phone and SAK is a small Sebenza. It makes for a small neat setup. 4 items blended together. From a distance it looks as if I only have 1 item on the belt.

Worktime I keep all my gear in a black leather pouch with its own belt, or in my pockets.
Other times I may put a Dozier Straight Personal on the trousers belt.

Because I will be trout fishing today come rain or come shine, a Victorinox Adventurer in a Vic sheath will be on my belt. ;)

Every since I made this design I seem to have one version or another on. This month its this one.

At 6.5" overall its small enough not to get in the way but still does the job of larger blades I have. The 0-1 holds a nice edge for sure.
The larger version is 8" overall and is shown here for comparison.

I just wear these in a basic pouch sheath that I also make but here is a version for Inide Waistband Carry.

Thanks for looking.

Those are great looking knives BGoode. Where are you located in N.C.? I'm in the western part about an hour west of Charlotte and an hour east of Asheville.

Man..I am right near you. Shelby, NC. I travel through Forest City to head to the Blueridge Parkway.....

On my belt? The only one I ever carry on my belt is a SAK. I used to carry phones and pagers on my belt, but I kept tearing up belt clip (as well as the phones and pagers.)

My pockets usually have:
- 1 of 4 different 2.25-2.75" folding knives
- cell phone

In the winter my Jacket Pockets usually have:
- PDA
- Mini-Mag flash light
- digital camera
- often a second of the 4 knives mentioned above
