John, That is Mike Vagnino's P-38 model. It's 3 3/4" closed with Chad Nichols stainless damascus bolsters, a CPM-154 blade, titanium liners and a ss backspacer. It's one of my favorites and it is the smoothest opening knife I've ever had.

I've been fussing with a Cold Steel Black Rock. I like the design. Heard it is being dropped from the lineup. Too bad. Next best thing to carrying a fixed blade, as long as you are not concerned about speed of deployment, which I never am. Might get around to writing a review.

My other compadre is a GEC Dogleg Jack, which I can't seem to not carry.

What caliber Glock do you guys use in Mexico?

I believe the 38 super is popular in your country, but I believe that is more so with the civilian population. Do you use 9mm, 45acp?

The gun I carry is a Glock 17 in 9mm; I also carry the Glock 18 depending on the job. My group sticks to the 9mm and the .40 caliber for pistols (that’s what we used since the army). The .38 and 357 are popular whit a lot of the municipal and state police agenesis that are comprised of mostly agents that come from a civilian background.
Berettas 92 FS, Berettas PXStorm in 9 mm. and in .40 cal. Glock 17, 18 and 22 are what we carry.

When you graduate from the military academy as an officer, they give you a colt .45 as a side arm. But most trade in the gun for credit towards another handgun, like myself. I went whit the Glock 17.
