Rocking the same set up today that I have been for a while: Vic. Sportsman in my right front pocket, with a Byrd Cara Cara 2 in my butt pocket, rather nicely concealed by the jacked I'm wearing (on campus today...even though pocket knives are perfectly fine by school rules, I like to keep what I carry on the down low, just in case)

Today I have my Spyderco Military Lefty in my back left pocket and my G-10 Dragonfly in the 5th pocket of my jeans.

i was going to get the aegis but i saw a mini vulcan tanto on sale for 70 bucks and couldn't pass up a good deal

how do you like the aegis?? im looking at the mini aegis when it comes out

Well, Furfmonkey, keeping in mind that there are many SOG haters on the forums, I felt it my duty to go out and buy one. ;)

Overall, I am very pleased with the Aegis. The AUS8 blade came screaming sharp and is easy to keep that way with the occasional strop. The handle is light yet secure and the deep carry pocket clip lets the knife disappear in the pocket. My favorite part of the knife is the blade design, which is very nicely done with a distal-taper to the tip and a full flat grind. The assisted opening is very handy as well. About the only annoyance with my Aegis is a bit of an off-centered blade, so if you can 'cherry pick' a knife, all the better. I also plan on getting the 'mini' when it is available.

Thanks Robert.

What? A big nose and big ears too?!?!:p;):D

(Just kidding.... I have a rule that suggests I should never pi$$ off a guy that's much bigger than me unless I'm positive I can out run him.:D)

(and these days, I couldn't out run a turtle.)

Haha as a kid the ears were monkey like, but I grew into them :D:thumbup:

SRM 710 all week for me, perfect for my job.

when im on duty in brooklyn i carry a tigerstripe trident ive beat the snot out of it cutting everything from vinyl fence to zip ties to peoples clothes... ive batoned it and its held up fine.. SOG's get a bad rap IMO and every SOG ive owned has exceeded my expectations .. i like them more than spyderco.. not a fan of a big ugly hole in my blade.. just visually unappealing to me..
