Workin in the mud fightin flood waters back so figured my ZT MUDD (top one) would be best suited for dirty wet hard use today :)

That MUDD looks really nice with the silver highlights.

Well 560 rounds latter and I’m really loving the G36(This particular one is semi automatic, the autos are on the way:D). I do think that the magazines are its only weak point. We have a make shift house were we do some of our shooting. The collapsible stock makes it a great CQC weapon and car riffle. I took my Benchmade 860 and Winkler Sayoc axe for the ride.

When you're finished with the semi-auto the Mexican government can gift one to me :D That benchmade is a lot bigger than i thought too seeing it next to your hawk.

Thanks for the comment:thumbup: I stripped the finish off the handles, sanded the pivot and thumbstud to a satin finish, shortened the clip and slowly/carefully ground a choil for a close up grip for finer work:)

Hey Sh00ter, sorry I went messing around with my settings and now can't get out of mobile mode so can't quote any posts.
The Gavin Hawk clip is pretty nice. It's really stiff and takes some pressure to release the tension though. I'm thinking of taking it off, bending it a bit then putting it back on.

I keep it simple, just a Leatherman Skeletool CX and a BRKT Gunny. they are like my wallet, if my pants are on I have them with me.

I’m really considering getting one for my 0350; just yesterday I was doing a lot of drawing, cutting, and re-pocketing and noticed how quickly it was wearing at my pocket (even though it doesn’t feel as aggressive as some of my other G10 handles). I usually just smooth out the G10 under the clip on my knives, but this might be a better option.

Next question, where did you get yours? I can’t seem to find any dealers that carry them. Do I have to go straight to the source (G&G Hawk)?

Thanks

This is the only knife I’m going to carry today. It’s a homemade knife I made from a piece of a hacksaw blade. Made it to put in my SAS style urban survival tin. Its razor sharp and small enough to put in your wallet. It was very fun to make.

I call it the "Mini Forest Ape". In honor of the great knife maker Blais.;)
