I'm presently carrying a Case swayback, ESEE Izula, Cold Steel Pocket Bushman, and Condor Rodan.

Today it's a Spyderco Endura 4 SE and a CRKT Drifter. Vic Rambler on the keyring as always.

Look at that big toothy grin! :D

No, a production supervisor though I do help my operators set dies to stay sharp and useful.... ;)

Ahhh ok, you sound like a cool super! Since the crash happened the shops I've worked at here have gone downhill bad...crappy time to be a machinist in Australia :( thankfully I'll have my US perm residence soonish.

Nice, classy. Traditional, I like it a lot..Just about a perfect small game, carry knife. Sweet...

It's a great little fixed blade, the Queen D2 holds a great edge after some re-profiling...it came pretty dull, but I've come to expect that from most US production knife companies.

i carried my regular para 2 yesterday (black handle). today im carrying my para 2 carpenter steel (gray handle).

Hi, I'm new here.
These are the two knives I have most often in my edc knife rotation.
The first one is an Opinel nr.6 carbon blade. A patina is already starting to form but I don't mind, I might even speed up the process. I've used this knife for many years since it just does it's job very well and I consider it to be very, very sharp for a knife. In fact I've probably used Opinel for my whole entire life just because I did not feel the need for anything else, it was able to perform very well in all the tasks I used it for.
The second one is a rather recent purchase, a CRKT Lake 111 Zytel version. I use this knife quite often in my edc these days because it's really quick in handling (taking it out of my pocket, opening the blade,...) but I find it to be less sharp as the Opinel, even after sharpening but that's not a big deal. I'm really fond of both of these knives.

I often carry an Opinel #6. It fits the pocket just a bit better than #7. You can put a sharp edge on it, and it's practically weightless. It also is not intimidating to non-knife people.

Indeed, only disadvantage is that there is no clip (I already lost some Opinel in the past) but then again... An Opinel with clip wouldn't be as ergonomic nor beautiful as a plain one.
About the intimidating part, you're right again. I've often used that Opinel knife to cut food with, and other people don't say anything about it, or they might say "Wow that looks practical" or related responses. With the CRKT knife it's already a different story, eventhough I think the CRKT knife doesn't look that intimidating in my opinion. In the latter case, peoples responses are more like this: "What do you need thàt for? Are you going to kill somebody". Ah, well.
