Today, I'm carrying my Fallkniven Northern Lights Idun on the trail in the Kiamichi Mountains at Lake Broken Bow.

Here's another one of my fav EDC's. It's a collaboration with Bill McHenry and myself. I forged the blade steel and the blade, He crafted the rest. It dates back to 1992 and I treasure it! It's loaded with goodies everywhere. Dove tailed jigged bone scales, Damascus bolsters; Even the thumbstud is damascus! Check the great filework and carving on the spine!

Dood, that's insane. Great job, and that beast looks amazing! Is it a one-off, or semi-production?

Went hiking in the San Gabriel Mountains today with some 1095 goodness from Diamond J and GEC.

Thanks! :)

Actually, her name is "Eurydice" - an oak nymph and wife of legendary musician Orpheus. Every DJK knife is named after a different woman. Kinda cool, I think.

sorry i thought that was josephine as it looks very similar to your eurydice. i also think naming the knives after women is cool.

p.s. any knife that im carrying is rhonda, help help me rhonda ;).

Wow that Diamond J looks amazing. The constant, steady sweep from tip to butt makes it very aesthetically pleasing, while looking simple and functional. Love that balance. The GEC is sweet, too. Love me a good wharnie.

I found this little knife stuck under the floor boards of an old Army Jeep. I don’t know how old it is but all I did to it was removed some of the rust on it, and the little knife is still sharp after all the time it was lost. I cut open a few boxes whit it.
Anyone know anything about it.

Nice little knife, ask on the bernard levine sub forum and he'll be able to tell you...looks like a great little user, no idea on age.
