Brother, those are SERIOUS PAWS.
I'm gonna go a bit off topic - Now I can't decide: Go for the Manix in BD30, Caly in ZDP-189, Military in XHP, or Para2 in CTS20P.... want good cutting and edge retention like M4, but really don't know... suggestions?![]()

And the lanyard hole.

I would grab the Para 2, it has better edge retention then M4 but you will be paying a pretty penny. BD30 is similar to S30V. I heard XHP is a stainless version of D2 which has above average edge retention. ZDP-189 is also a great edge holding steel, but if I were you, I would get a Stretch 2 instead of a Caly.
That's a tough decision in my eyes, they're all great knives but for general EDC, the 20CP para2 would probably be my pick from that list. Mine sees alot of pocket time.
I have the manix2 BD30P and I like BD30P better than S30V. IMO BD30P sharpens up better and holds it's razor edge longer, but I haven't tested overall edge retention though. Another plus for the BD30P manix2 is it's textured G10, I love it.
ZDP is A very good steel, I EDC'd an endura4 FFG ZDP for a year straight, then I got a para2 S30V (but i like ZDP better than S30V) and the endura has been taking a long vacation in my draw. Once I got my 20CP para2, it's been my go to para and main EDC.
If you prefer a bigger knife, the Millie would be a great choice. BTW, the Millie and manix2 BD30P weight the same (about 4.25oz).
Another vote for the 20CP para Kyrs, you can always get the BRG ZDP stretch later. The 20CP para might not be as easy to get by then. Oh and if you like M4, I'm guessing 20CP is for you.
I'll second that for the Para 20CP. I like this steel's performance.
