Benchmade 635(modded),Vic silver alox Solo,Fenix PD20,& a fisher space pen has pretty much been my EDC all Summer.I think I found my winning combo.I'm actually starting to lose interest in expanding my collection(perish the thought!!).:o

My favorite EDC, even though I have several much nicer: Spyderco Calypso Jr. with VG-10 blade and "fish scales" FRN handle.

I got a set of these to add to my car kits and backpacking backpacks. Anyone ever try to cut through rubber (like radiatior hose) with one of these? -They Rock-

...On another note, I like that PD30 you mentioned. I have a Fenix E01 that I EDC, but am looking for a more powerful light. I may check that out.

Check out the Fenix PD31, it was a limited run but it looks like they made more due to it's popularity. It's slightly thicker than the PD30 because it works with rechargeable RCR123s and puts out more lumens than the PD30. CR123s can get expensive and considering this light takes 2 I think that rechargeables are the way to go. It costs a bit more than the PD30 but you'll recoup that $$ in no time running RCR123s.

Yep, the PD30 definitely helps me out in my job a lot. I would definitely look at their PD31 like NaturalMystic said. I'm looking into a TK15 just because I'm a dbag like that. I would love to go for some SureFires, but I cannot justify $200 for the E2D Defender which does the same job as my PD30. I'm also looking at other companies at the moment. More to come.
