Case Customer Service Gets it Right!

I had been unhappy with the fit and finish of my Slimline Trapper, even though I love the ergonomics of the knife.

I contacted Case quality control, and a gentleman there sent me an excellent replacement. I am totally satisfied.

here are some pictures
the top knife is the one I am returning, notice the backspring is not flush with the scales and bolsters. Notice how nice the replacement fits, flush and smooth.

Here is a picture of the source of the problem. The one on the right is the one I am returning. The replacement is nicely polished and the result is I am thrilled!

Lastly here is a photo of the two knives open. The top one is the one Im keeping. Notice how nicely the spine of the blade is in line with the handle.

I just want to say that asking Case to solve the problem really paid off for me. I will definitely buy Case knives again. The gentleman that helped me is named Skip Lawrie. Do not hesitate to contact him if you have a quality concern about a Case knife. It is a wonderful thing to receive the quality customer service Skip provided me.
