Today it's my new Benchmade "Mike Wadell" Full size "Bone Collector" with green/black G-10, I have to admit when I first ordered this knife I thought the whole "Bone Collector" thing may be a little gimicky but this is really a nice solid knife, and so far I really like the D-2 blade!
Spent the afternoon attending a knife combat seminar, it’s called the Reaper Method. By far the some of the best knife work I have ever had the privilege of learning, its tailor made for use by military and law enforcement. I highly recommend Scott Babb’s work.
Here is a picture of me with Scott Babb, he really gave me a work out as you can see by my sweaty clothing. My arms are killing me from all the blocking we did during the flow drills. I loved every minute of it. I was in San Diego for only a day and i choose this over a family barbeque. It was worth it.
I decided to get this safe queen off her ass.
She was never mint, and I got her for free in a batch of other knives. Seller had no idea what it was.
I got tired of trying to figure out how much she's worth since the maker is now deceased.
Then I realized the best thing I could do for the makers legacy was enjoy this knife, even if it brings down the resale value.
Here she is:
E.V. Chavar (was a voting member of knifemakers guild, passed away in 2008 at only 44, R.I.P)
Fang style gentlemens folder with G-10 handles and a titanium liner lock.
Daryl Myer damascus wharncliffe blade.
