stunning knife! reminds me of my granddads knife, after he died though it went missing...good to know it wont be hard to have one made.

I'm not a big slipback(?) lover but I really starting to like these. I've seen them before but the more I see them the more I like them. Who makes these and where are they sold? I know I've seen the info before but never paid attention.

The term is Slipjoint :D I can't comment on that knife, since I'm not sure about it. But judging by the CPM 154 steel I'd wager it's a custom, or some sort of limited production high quality knife.

Googling "Alsdorf" which is stamped on the tang shows there is a Mike Alsdorf who makes knives, so that would be my wager.

LOL, yeah that's what I meant! I was having a brain fart and the term slipped my mind, hence the reason for the "?".

its a mike alsdorf custom.

i recently sold a couple. great little knives, and pretty reasonalbly priced.
 
Old school Bali-song Samson butterfly and Al Mar Eagle. Bought both in the early 80's
and still my daily carry.
 
Today I carried my Byrd Raven which I got a couple of days ago, and I'm surprised at how great it is for the money.
 
Finished up these celluloid scales for my BM 930 this afternoon... plan on carrying it tomorrow as well.

DAMN that looks good! Wish I had the spare time to do that. (and the skillz)

What I am carrying today, hmm... let me look real quick, Spyderco Manix 2, Spyderco Smallfly, and Spyderco Michael Walker. I'm not a strictly Spyderco guy though, yesterday I was wearing the Benchmade 755 MPR, Benchmade Mini-Infidel, and the Benchmade 790 Subrosa (sometimes I clank when I walk)
