Here's a sweet little EDC that I just finished up. I'm discounting this knife due to the mis-stitch on the sheath. This was my first time making an Universal sheath. I failed to notice my stitch holes were off before I sewed it up. My lost is gain!
The sheath can be worn in the horizontal position on either the right or left hand side. It can also be worn on the right or left hand side in the vertical position. As a bonus, I decided to make it truly Universal by making a tab with two eyelets so the Owner can wear it as a neck knife if desired.
The handle material is some laminated Burlap material I made myself. The colors you see in handle material is due to the printing that was on the bag. I believe this particular burlap bag was made for pinto beans from a company in Mexico. This stuff is very hard!
The specs are as follows:
Steel: 1/8" 1080
Hardware: two 1/8" Brass Pins
Handles: Burlap phenolic laminated material with Red G10 liners
Blade: 3 1/4" tip to front of scales with about 3" edge
OAL: 6 1/4"
Comes with a custom Universal leather sheath handmade by myself.
