I seriously doubt that throw is tool steel--what is it? I'm more addicted to learning begleri of late to yoyo much.

The difference between the two, for me, is that I love carrying this one. The 0777 knives are too wide and chunky in the pocket for my tastes. That said, if you can get your hands on one of the damascus ones it's definitely a massively collectible knife if you're into that sort of thing.

Haha, you are correct on the yoyo, it's a SFyoyo's SF SS. It's their first bi metal release. Begleri looks fun, which have you been learning on?

That makes sense on the 0777. I actually missed a decently priced 0454 a few months ago, maybe next time! I collect, but I prefer to pocket and use them for the most part.
 
Last weekend, I searched high and low to find a nice spalted beech. Today was it's inaugural run and my first try at an mnandi. I love it.

I use mostly a couple of sets I bought from Etsy vendors. A leather cord monkey fist ball bearing set, and a set of copper balls with paracord for the other. I started with some paracord and a four nuts from my toolbox, but after learning a couple of tricks I started shopping for prettier ones pretty quickly. I like to play with them while I'm stuck on conference calls . . .
