This lovely little GEC Tom's Choice Barlow. It was gifted to me by an internet friend with a wonderful collection.

This is a great thread but for us newbies it would be helpful if folks could label the knives they post.

Nice TC!

It's not just newbies! I wish everyone labeled their knives in every post they made; there are so many knives out there that it's impossible to keep track of them all.

I label mine, and I'm always excited when folks label theirs.

Sure is. It's an older one before they put the stainless barrel bushing and ambidextrous safeties on them

Thought so. I have a Range Officer that has treated me well for about 8 years now. It just needs new sights, already did my own trigger job on it.

My current EDC has changed very little e over the last 12 months. I typically carry 3-5 knives not including keyring knives.

RFP, ( right front pocket) clipped is usually a large Sebenza, as of late it's been a plain Jane 25 Sebenza my favorite kind. This was a gift from a friend here at BFC.

The more I handle the Military, the more the polished clip and tip-down positioning grow on me. In the past, the first thing I'd do whenever I got a new Spydie with a polished clip was call Golden and order a black one; I prefer my clip to be relatively inconspicuous. But with the Millie, somehow the polished clip just feels right for the knife.

It's also my first tip-down carry, and so far I'm enjoying that new experience. I love knives that are drilled and tapped for just one clip position, but I wrote off the Millie for a long time because that position was tip-down. But on a knife this long, and this shape, it really does feel more natural to me to extract and open it tip-down than I think it would tip-up.

TL;DR: The Military is great!:D
