I think you're on the right track for sure, but the Atlas seems to have a bit more of a curve at the bottom of the scales, no? I just think it's purdy and am always on the lookout for simple, elegant blades such as that.

I agree. I have the LW in black and love it. Wish I went with the blue though. Looks much better IMO.

Great value and I am surprised how much I like the BD1. Gets sharp and easy to sharpen.
