Mini prybars and the ilk don't generally appeal to me...but I'm drawn to this. What is it?

A fellow that worked in a tool and die factory somewhere in the South U.S. made it, he put it up for sale on eBay and I bought it at least 9 years ago I liked the way it looked.
It's a pry bar/sharp piercer/small hammer wrapped in O.D. paracord.
