This never happens; but I went full Spyderco, today. Not sure about the idea of taking a picture, though - the colors don't go well together, at all. (Green, red, and purple)
For the sake of the thread, I'm carrying a Mule, a Military, and a Mantra2.
 
My little Gerber always clipped to my front right pants pocket and my mighty Buck 110 always in my truck. Both very handy and razor sharp.

I think you're thinking of @halden.doerge - he's the king of color matched EDC, lol. (I do it once in a while...but black or flat titanium go with just about everything.)
It wasn't so much that the colors didn't match...but that they just didn't go well together. Doesn't matter when they're in their respective pockets, or tucked under my shirt; but being laid out next to each other wasn't pretty.
