I'd been oblivious to @razor-edge-knives "new" (to me) sub-forum, but, having found it, posted a couple times over there yesterday. I went through my files looking for pics of my XM24 re-grind, but only liked the very first I'd posted a couple years ago when Josh sent his excellent re-creation back to me. The sun's actually out today here on rainy Old Cape Cod, so I got a few new snaps of the knife after I made it today's carry this morning.

Re-profiled it... got rid of the tanto.

I just picked up my 0620CF last week and did a bit of a reprofile as well.
I took it to 19.5dps with a stone progression up to 2000 grit then stropped.
Using a guided system as I did and paying close attention to the edge angle on this particular blade yours looks to be in the 18dps-ish area. Am I close? Just seeing how observant I am, or not.
Yours looks good with that reprofile though! But this one being my only tanto I'll keep it as is.
