EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Thanks!! It’s the Matt Diskin IDF flipper, made by Reate. The only problem I had with it was a pointy pocket clip, but having rounded that off, it’s pretty perfect.

Man, Reate makes some quality pieces!
I see the Diskin M1 is available, I may need (yes, need:D) to pull the trigger on this one.

I spent a few hours over in the woodshop today cleaning, organizing, putting stuff back together and away. I hadn't wanted to do all the soldering required to make the chimney cap in the sheetmetal shop as it's in the house basement and, having done it in the more spacious and easily ventilated woodshop, it's been hanging around there waiting for my client to come get it. I finally crated it up today as I'll now need the space for cutting plywood and shelving materials for making some changes to the sheetmetal shop before taking delivery of all the stock for the upcoming hidden gutter and scupper project.

I had the new CKF along with me today. Though it was only out for photo ops and fondling...

...it's smooth as MILK both in feel and operation.

It does, but heads up, BladeHQ states that it's 4" (that usually means blade length) but when I further checked the specs it's 3.4".
I need 3.6-4" for my needs these days, meaning I'm full up on 3-3.5" blades.
I almost made a mistake.
Would have been a shocker to open that box.

Ya I actually find myself only wanting blades between 3.25-3.5" so the 4" almost scared me away from it. I read the dimensions and the blade is 3.4" and handle 4.4" so it would be perfect for my needs. Now I've just gotta save up for it.... that's always the hard part.
