Thank ya much. I wasn’t really looking for it, just kinda happened across it for a good price. It’s one of my favorites for sure. Debated on making it a worker but couldn’t do it. It still gets carried and used but not for work

I’ve got a plain 21 ladder Damascus I use for work. Fits that role better than the striped platan/raindrop.

Purchased this one at least five years ago. Still works/looks like new.
Lightening was bought out by another Chinese company about two years ago. Unfortunately they changed materials, and are using shoddy manufacturing techniques like regular, cheap, Chinese knives. Too bad.

Same here! I particularly love the clean lines on this one, plus I'm a big fan of well executed back locks. And I gotta say this vintage natural canvas micarta is by far the most stunning micarta in my collection (and I'm mainly a wood and micarta guy).
