Two days' carry here. Yesterday we went up to Boston for a doctor's appointment and I carried my Kapara, a knife I've been somewhat unsure about since I picked it up last fall. It's started to fit into that light EDC, just in case I need a knife niche (like I don't always have one on me, right?). Not a worker, not really a gentleman's knife, one that both carries and seems smaller than a 3.5" blade oughta. Nice fit and finish and nice materials typical of a Taichung Spydie.
Today I did b-ball admin most of the morning, writing several group emails to league Directors, Division Directors, playoff hosts, playoff officials assignors, and a couple to our webmaster as we prepare to finish our regular season this weekend and ready our schedules and seeding for the playoffs the next. J and I then went for a mid-day walk around the big field at Fort Hill on this beautiful mild January day, enjoying the sunlight and gorgeous Atlantic views over the marsh and outer beach. Later I found some time to snap a few knife pics of yesterday's carry and today's Tabargan. The more I carry this one, the more I enjoy its rugged, utilitarian design and simple materials, like a Russian version of a classic Benchmade.
