If you see a lot of defensive knives or hunting implements, he's a youngster. After all, who else freezes in a tree stand for fun?

I occasionally hunt with a 73yr old family friend. He can outlast me in any cold tree stand or soggy duck blind, and he loves every minute of it

I intentionally left the 501 out of my LFP, putting my light there, instead. Thought I'd gotten out of the house without it, until I reached into a jacket pocket when I got home.

I just turned 70 years old myself, and I'm getting cold when this time of the year rolls around. The real issue for me is "health." I wanted to stay agile and do anything I wanted to pursue. So over 40 plus years ago I became a gym rat. Sure, having no body fat sure looks good in the mirror, but let's just say that the heater in my F-150 is my "best friend."

My home usually have the gas fireplace running. It feels nice, but I'm still wearing a flannel shirt in my own house! LOL.

Congrats on hitting that milestone number! Keep on staying healthy & hitting the gym. It’s easier to ditch the flannel than some unwanted Lb’s when it gets warm again

Gym rats don't really age, we just brag more!

I went to the doctor yesterday (or six weeks ago--time cannot be defined at my age) and he pegs my "health age" not at the real 70 years but at about 55 years. That seems to be the general condition for my mother's side of the family. Her sisters (my aunts) lived within the 93 years old range.

Then again, I don't smoke and the last shot of liquor I had must be +45 years ago. I saw the health condition of the older bikers in my group, and decided right there that it might be from a bullet, but it won't be from clogged arteries!

As you can imagine, I get the usual cat-calls from friends, like, "Life is to be enjoyed! Let's all have some fatty steaks and big old glop of butter on that baked potato!" Of course, then we buried one of my best friends, "Tiny," when he dropped stone cold onto the bathroom floor.

Yes, life is to be enjoyed, it's just not to be endured when you're hacking up phlegm...

The action is decent. Not like a Sebenza, but not quite fall shut yet. I think it will be once it breaks in.
