These quick-change straps are giving me a lot more wear out of the Citizen these days.

Another thumbs up for Estwing. They are made here in Illinois and I go to their factory every now and then for pick ups.

That’s cool! Do they give any free samples at the factory? ;)

Hard to go wrong with an Estwing, guys. I've had at least one for all 47 yrs I've been bangin' nails. I've tried a bunch of others, but still EDC an Estwing, mostly that 20 oz curved claw in the pic--old guy's hammer. I've got a 22 oz straight claw in the truck, the same in the shop, a 20 oz curved claw leather grip in the Vermont house, and a 22 oz long-reach in the shed up there too. My sons all have Estwings as does my wife.

The only one that ever failed me was a long-reach framer that I used a lot side-swiping to break off foundation snap-ties. I was taking the spring-braces out of a frame job, straddling one and swinging the claw end to dig in under the brace to free the nails. The head broke off, stayed under the brace-end, my arm and the handle swinging fully through and right into my junk. Just eye watering....

Just got this one today, micarta feels excellent. Action is a little stiff, just need to compulsively flip it a bit!

Great idea! I'm a carpenter by day and bow string maker by night! That makes me hurt just thinking about the estwing blow to the junk! Lol I thought they were indestructible! Start a thread i'll post up..

Have not noticed many lamented blades on folders like that before. Very Cool!
Also like that SAK’s blade style, may hunt one down.
