EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Just some Sunday out of the safe love for my Gec#62 Easy pockets.
They were carried today from the safe to the olive wood slab and with the exception of the Goldenrod Camel bone then carried back again

I'm just doing stuff around the house today--sorting out my clothes closet; b-ball business; craigslist posting; design, paper layout, and calcs for the front gutters while waiting for the Celts/Lakers game--so I'm carrying the good Doctor as a light user. It's another sweet, mild, sunny late February day that's good for knife pics around the yard, too....

I kind of want the Socom elite signature but I'm on the fence, I prefer knives below 3.7" and the socom is a 4"..... I feel like a UTX85 is on the horizon soon.

I kind of want the Socom elite signature but I'm on the fence, I prefer knives below 3.7" and the socom is a 4"..... I feel like a UTX85 is on the horizon soon.

I found with my long hands it was a little fiddly getting my hand in the correct position so it wouldn't interfere with the path of the blade opening on the manual.
The auto solved that issue.

Ya I hadn't really thought of the manual action... I've never experienced a microtech manual so I couldn't even think if I've heard of the quality of the manual actions. Of course microtech autos are some of the best auto actions, so that's probably the way I'd go too.

I wouldn't buy a sports car to tow my boat so I guess I wouldn't by a manual microtech either not knowing. Not saying it wouldn't be good, just not sure that's all.

That knife looks like a beast though. Definitely a great knife for certain scenarios.

That's a beauty.... I want to handle the Utx85 to see how it fits my hand. I imagine it would be just the right size. I'm hoping one pops up for me to handle
