Them russian Patriots
Decided to match up some forged CF today.
Today, it's a Spyderco Gayle Bradley 2. I dig that quilted carbon fiber over G-10...
What a nice setup brother. Very jealous.
Pouring some concrete today. So here's today's cast. The prolite has been putting in some work the last few days. Really have to say for a $20 knife it's One tough SOB. Not big on cold steel but this guy... oh ya he's a star. If you don't have one you'd do right by getting one for a beater blade. It will take what you dish out and ask for more.
Got more than I expected with this:
I like the clean design... refined simplicity
I've been looking at the ATAC, such a cool knife. I wish I could find with cocobolo inlays.
This picture reminds me of a dead Cicada hauls hanging on the walls of the barn out back when I was a youngster. Nice shot.
How he pictured the matrix and the reality in one shot?
Was lazy yesterday; so I ended up working in the cold and wet today. No fancy knives, just stuff I'm not worried about using & uglying up.
Got tired of trying to cut this stuff with a 20" bar; so much easier with the 24"...
Obviously, I wasn't using either of these on the stuff showing in these pictures; but that Barkie is probably the best chopper I've got, and it's a lot of fun to use for branches. (I do use some of my others more, just because they're lighter)
Pacific Salt 2 and DLT hank just showed up.
Decided to just grab whatever looked fun.
It's nice to have springs to play with when you're waiting on thermostats to time out or thermometers to read temperatures.
I think they compliment each other aesthetically and I like the contrast of up-swept plain to re-curve partial serrated for looks and cutting needs.
