Not a very nice Micarta Monday as it started out with the kitchen sink shut-off valve I repacked last week letting go and shooting water all over. Fortunately I heard it when I was down in the basement and got the water off before it did too much damage. I messed with it without success for a while, left a message for a plumber I work with and got a different guy I know to agree to come this afternoon so I wouldn't leave J stuck with no water all day and have to deal with it when I got home.

K and I went to PTown to problem solve design issues, do a little reframing, measure for scuppers, and figure drainage piping. It's a beautiful beachside location but it was raw, windy, and sunless by the bay, and ended up raining on us before we got much done. Just a fractured sorta day.

I did have a great knife with me, though...

One thing that was cool today was this guy not 10 feet from my truck when I got in this morning, waiting for unfortunate chipmunks to pop out of the holes near the stone retaining wall over by the shop.
