I got me an Afzelia burl Jack O'Neill! It actually arrived in the mailbox a couple days after getting evacuated from our house during the Soberanes Fire in 2016. It sat safely in that very public mailbox for over 3 weeks. I was just happy to have a house, let alone this beauty! Thanks again Jack!

I remember that pic after the fire Bob and a few others you sent . I loved the one of the fire fighter friend of yours drinking the milk from your frig. letting you know they saved your house .

I read copper kills germs so I though I’d carry my R2D2 with copper scales today.

My EDC sized custom fixed blade came in and im diggin it. 3.5" blade in 80CRV2 high carbon steel with a sweet swedge, .125 stock, OD micarta handle with CF pins, 7" overall and a kydex sheath. Even with the shorter handle i can get a full 4 finger grip on there no problem. Took a chance and glad i did.

Yep. I just re-read those emails and was happy to find those pictures. After 24 hours of being pretty sure my place burned down, my friend sent me this picture from inside the house. Pretty smoky outside! My structure was evidently referred to as The Man Cave amongst firefighters.

I’m glad you took the chance too, that’s a very good looking knife. I really like the blade profile too.

That Twist Tighe sure is a beautiful color and blade combination, you got a real winner there.
