EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Today's weather forecast had the rain holding off 'til early afternoon so K and I went to PTown first thing to get at least one more section of deck scuppers/floor gutters uncovered, figured out, measured and re-covered. Things went well, we ended up getting that done for all the remaining sections, and I got out of there early and home in time to box up the knife I finally sold and onto today's USPS truck out of town.

I went from carrying a rare and fairly expensive Russian knife yesterday to a way more modest piece today, toting my Kizer Vanguard Laconico Intrepid which K gave me a few years back. It's actually a lotta knife for the price--good F&F and a wicked flipper, with a nicely hollow ground VG10 blade that takes a good edge. I like carrying it when I'm with K as he sees I appreciate and use it.

I gifted this Kershaw injection to my buddy a while back. He sent me this picture yesterday with his new pup carrying it.

Thanks brother! TBH, it’s all eye candy because I’m not really “carrying” anything while working from home lol

Sometimes that’s When the carry is most enjoyable because it’s not in your pocket and you can carry it in your hand as much as you want

Your Bark River just keeps on looking better and better each time I look at it, and what an awesome overbuilt sheath too. Love the colored scales of your Spyderco, I know it glows, but it still looks a lot like my new Jade Green Civivi in the sunlight. Beautiful contrast it has, coupled with that all black blade. And of course, great photo composition too, it’s not easy finding all those quality Acorns for the shoot. All around, great picture.

I’m liking this Bark River and desert ironwood more and more everyday and I liked it a lot since day one lol. I actually have another Bark River on the way that should be here shortly but a different model and can’t wait !
The Spyderco Shaman is actually a natural g10 or you can say ghost g10 and not the glow in the dark although they do look the same with the lights on It’s a Blade BHQ exclusive.
