  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I was planning on a Carbon Fiber Friday, but going through the knife drawers my Les George Eagle drew my attention so I opted for a Framelock Flipper Friday, going back to Wilson Combat and sticking with a milled Ti framelock for a third day running. I really like this one and spent a lot of time a while back getting it to flip well, straightening out a pinched washer and discovering the secret to slicking up Teflon washers is liquid TriFlow. I've got a real nice polished edge on this CTS-XHP blade and like its subtle recurve, even going so far as to sharpen into the plunge grind to accentuate it and give the knife a pokey little beard at the back.

The other thing I really dig with this one is how stupidly slim it is for a good-sized knife while having enough breadth to really lock into my hand.
