Sounds like a fun day! Lol Those architectural shingles are a pain to get apart to do a simple repair. Last fall I installed a roof cricket behind a chimney, had a time getting them apart. Sure glad the homeowner and a couple packs of extra shingles..I finally got up on my client's roof to fix the top-floor bathroom plumbing vent boot that's been degrading over the winter, its leakage finally having gotten to the intolerable stage. The eave is a three high-ceilinged stories up, requiring a long extension ladder the 2nd story deck to get over the top deck rail with an assisting 4-foot step to cross, then another up to the eave, and a roof cleat set on the steepish pitch. Not a fun day for these old bones, though K came with me to set up the ladders late yesterday afternoon.
Here's my Carbon Fiber Friday carry with the old cracked and split boot on my tailgate after I limped back to the truck...

...and the new boot in place before putting the shingles back.

Good guesses
Lincoln Park by the Fauntleroy ferry terminal over in West Seattle.
Yeah, they suck. Breaking the seal is easy on the doubled sections, but the single plies tear really easily. I had no spares and the pipe boot was well caulked. Thank god for BlueSeal and silicone!Sounds like a fun day! Lol Those architectural shingles are a pain to get apart to do a simple repair.
