For me, the XM-18 3.5” knives just fit perfectly in my hands. I also like their action better. Those two combined with different steels, blades, and color options I also really like. I also feel more comfortable using the thicker blades at times.

I just got my HIGO-X-IW-DLC, and it's gorgeous. The color of my ironwood is not that bright but dark, which perfectly matches the dark blade itself.
The open-close action is pretty smooth that I can easily get used to it.
My YXR 7 HRC is 64.4, which is tougher than I thought, anyway, this Matrix High Speed Steel has superior strength and toughness. According to the tech info from Hitachi, YXR 7 is tougher and easier to grind compared to HAP 40, which is also a sort of High Speed Steels.
Overall, HIGO X has both durability and aesthetics, I may feel a little reluctant to use it as a user like my L Sebenza though.
